Whispers LP by Science Fiction

Genre: Drum n Bass
Science Fiction released their new album on Tamrecords entitled "Whispers LP". Whispers LP is a drum n bass album that mostly consists of atmospheric sounds and soft but pacey drum patterns. It is also a very smooth enjoyable to listen to but to dance to it one cannot say.
One thing that drags the album down was that there was no presence of vocals or vocals sampling on it of any sort. Something that was clearly missed.
In conclusion the album was okay, but could have been better.

Air Chrysalis by Concord Dawn

Genre: Drum n Bass
Today Concord Dawn released their new album "Air Chrysalis" on their Facebook page for free. Hearing this I decided to download and listen to it to see if it was any good. I can say that I really enjoyed listening to this album. The album also features artists Thomas Oliver, Rikki Morris, Savage, Nina Mcsweeney and Jade. This album contains good old drum n bass from the early and mid 2000s, an era which I enjoy the most I must add. The album was fast with hard hitting drums and excellent atmospheric sounds that made me fall in love with Concord Dawn. There were so many songs that I loved. Concord Dawn really did a good job on this album.
In conclusion this was a good dnb album. One which should because it is free!

Minimailzed by Heavy1

Genre: Drum n Bass
On the 14th of May Heavy1 released "Minimalized" on Rubik Records. The album features the like of Key MC, Iriann Joyce and June Miller. The album consist of 11 tracks with two bonus tracks on some editions.
My first impression when listening was that I found it to be a bit slow It sound like it was 140 b.m.p. or 150 b.m.p. which is slow for if it is drum n bass. It felt however like the pace was directed more into the dubstep sphere. A track that demonstrated this was "Deep Train". The itself displayed different kinds of styles from abit of neurofunk, to jungle and a bit of atmospheric sounds. Some tracks also sounded as if they were minimal or tech house.
Going through the album, the tracks I really enjoyed were "Minimalized" and "The Light Upon My Road".
In conclusion I found the album to be average. Very little stood out. It was boring to be fair.

Introducing Chic Gala

Genre: 8-Bit/ New Wave/Punk
Chic Gala s electro-punk group with a lot of indie style in their music. Their new album "Inside The Ember Palace" was released on D-Trash records on the 29th May. It s full of crazy lyrics, chick screaming and mildy loud 8-bit sounds. I really enjoyed the vocals of this album even though I could not make out a single word that they were really saying. But did not worry about that. It is punk music, whatever they say is cool to me.
My favorite track was "Psycho Girl". I just love the screaming of a girl on this track. Perfect song to start a riot.
In conclusion it was enjoyable to listen to. Especially if you like to disturb a lot.

Join Slugabed's Time Team

Genre: Wonky/Glitch hop
Slugabed yes that is his name, New album "Time Team" is one of the the strangest yet most beautiful glitch/wonky albums I have heard so far this year. It has it all, funny titles for its tracks with equally funny sounds, weird noises and a lot of glitches that makes me sit down and smile or just jump around in madness.
There are a lot of things which I found were unique with this album. The way he fused the synthetic sounds, FX, and the drum pattern to create his melodies was amazing.
Equally amazing was the voice samples he used which brought a bit of humour to his album.  And how he fused all this is still a mystery.
In conclusion I would say this album is beautiful piece of art form. One that Ninja Tune and Slugabed could be very proud of indeed.

Low Sun EP by Swarms

Genre: Dubstep
Swarms, the group that are very similar to dubstep artist Burial have released a new EP called "Low Sun". They bring back that deep downtempo dubstep, which is so fresh and relaxing to listen to. A type of dubstep that many listeners have ignored in recent times. I really enjoyed the vocals on this EP which were not always clear but always relaxing to listen to. The only thing that I found disappointing was that it was only 4 tracks. I hope that it would not take long before they release a new album.
In the end "Low Sun EP" is a good EP. If you enjoy artists like Burial, Clubroot and Zomby, then you will love this new EP from Swarms

Eric Prydz Presents Pryda Disc 1

Genre: Electronic
Eric Prydz's Pryda is finally here. But it is released under his alias Pryda. The content of the album is pure quality throughout. Almost all the tracks would put you in a trance like state. Pryda really impressed on this one as the progressive and uplifting nature of the songs creates a perfect atmosphere for everyone that enjoys electronic dance music.
The track which I enjoyed the most was "Allien" which was just perfect. Other tracks which I enjoyed were "Agag", "Beyond 8", "Hardrock Lausanne", "You" and "Pjanoo (Eric's Intro Edit)".
Conclusion, this was a very good album. Maybe a masterpiece from the Swede. Well we have to wait and see. But excellence is what you get from Eric Prydz so no surprise at all

Unlike Pluto's Poetic Jargon EP

Genre: Electro house/Dubstep
This week Unlike Pluto released his new EP called "Poetic Jargon". Some of the songs on this EP I had previously heard on soundcloud, therefore I was really interested of hearing more from Unlike Pluto. There are some really good tunes on this EP. The tracks are a mixture of electro house and dubstep . But the dubstep has more melody in it than the usual filthstep which I am growing increasingly tired off. The track that I enjoyed the most was "Sky Drop". I think it was a really good track and the best on the EP.
In conclusion Unlike Pluto produced a solid EP. One that he can definately build on with the right support provided if signed.

All I Know by Matrix & Futurebound featuring Luke Bingham

Genre: Drum n Bass/Dubstep
Yesterday on Viper Records, Matrix & Futurebound featuring Luke Bingham released their new EP called "All I Know". I must say I was impressed with the song when I first saw the youtube video on Liquicity youtube Channel.. Watching the video back convinced me to get the EP and take a closer look at the EP. I can say I was impressed with the quality of the tracks. What I found really impressive were the remix by Alex Kenji and the mix by Seven Lions. I also loved the rap and vocals given by Luke Bingham which were both inspirational and good. It just makes you want to listen to the song over and over again. The track that I enjoyed the most was the "M&F Rolling Out Radio Mix". I thought it was brilliant.
In conclusion I believe this was a good EP worth listening to.

Behind the Mask EP by J Majik & Wickaman

Genre: Drum n Bass
This week J. Majik & Wickaman released a new EP entitled "Behind the Mask". What I can say about it is that it is really some good atmospheric dnb accompanied by some good jungle vibes. The EP comprises of 4 tracks with Keri Greenaway featuring on "Don't Go". The track that  liked the most was "Talk to Me" which  found to be brilliant.
I would say the EP was okay. Not brilliant but okay.

The Wonky World of Lone's Galaxy Garden

Genre: Electronic/ Wonky
Lone is out with a new LP called "Galaxy Garden". This artist very interesting to listen to as he brings so many incredible sounds on his album. I am particularly impressed with the drum pattern that is displayed on each of the tracks. Though some maybe repetitive the are enjoyable and easy to dance to. Not only that but it is also an album that you can sit down and relax to.
What I enjoyed the most about the album was the wonky bass throughout the album. It was so enjoyable to listen to it. I could not stop dancing to it. Simply magnificent stuff from Lone I must say.
The tracks that I loved on this album were "Now Colour", "Crystal Cavern 1991", "Lying in Reeds" and "Raindance. There were appearances from Machinedrum and Anneka on the album.
In conclusion I say that this was a very enjoyable album to relax, dance and listen to. Some really good stuff here!

Genre: Chiptune
Newcomer Megashii has release a new EP which is entitled "Megashii". It is a chiptune EP which has some similarity with she. The only draw back I find with this EP is that it is very short indeed. But from what I have heard I hope to hear more from him from the future. I really enjoyed "NFSW".

Vitamin D by Datsik

Genre: Dubstep
This week Datsik released his new album called "Vitamin D" on Last Gang Records. The album is full of robotic tunes with filthy bass lines and the occasional hip hop voice sample here and there. The album is very loud indeed and makes a lot of noise. I can say this is not for the faint hearten as many non-dubstep fans would find it irritating and dirty. I felt the album actually sounded very similar to what so many other dubstep artist are releasing. So I actually did not see a great deal of uniqueness as I hoped.
There were some tracks that I found were really good. like "Bonafide Hustler" "Napalm and "Fully Brown.
In conclusion, I would say it is okay. That is all.

Vava Voom by Bassnectar

Genre: Dubstep/Breakcore
So another album by Bassnectar called "Vava Voom". I have to say this album is one of the most complete dubstep album I have heard in a long time. It was funny, cool and eventful. Something to behold for sure from Bassnectar. The style that Bassnectar displayed in this album was very vast with, rap, ragga and a bit of dreamy in it which I found kind of cute in the track "Laughter Crescendo ( 2012 version). It also had haunting vocals which was provided by Mimi Page on "Butterfly". Also the album also features Chicago MC Lupe Fiasco on "Vava Voom", which caught me by surprise. The ragga influenced track "What" with Jantsen was good. This is so far the most complete and most solid dubstep album out so far. It did not have too much of that rough bass that we been bombarded with for weeks. Anyone that buys this album will not be disappointed.

Immune to Gravity EP by J Rabbit

Genre: Dubstep
The Rabbit of dubstep has released another EP called "Immune to Gravity". Apparently he thinks he will rise to the top and never come down. I doubt that he is immune to gravity anyway after listening to this EP.
The EP was full of twisted rugged basslines which I am finding far too common in dubstep these days. But there were some tracks that I liked however on this EP. Like "Immune to Gravity" but at times it sounded like some machines being tormented.
So conclusion is that this EP was okay. That is it.

Riot! EP by Cookie Monsta

Genre: Dubstep
Cookie Monsta not the one from The Muppets has released his latest EP called "Riot!". One thing I can say about this EP is that it is filled with noise, filthy bass and a lot of loudness. Not surprised since the EP name sake. I did not have a hard time listening to it though. But if I was in a bad mood and I listened to this album would throw the CD out of the room. If on the other hand I want to disturb the whole community, then this EP id the perfect.
I can say this EP should only be played in raves, house parties and in clubs. Not an album you can sit down and listen to in the comfort of your home, because this EP provides no comfort whatsoever.
"Riot!" is a good filthstep EP if it is what you like to listen to. If you are not a fan of filthstep, then do not even attempt to buy this EP. You might regret it.

Fire Inside by Gemini

Genre: Dubstep
So yesterday another EP from Gemini was released. This one titled "Fire Inside". It was good to hear Gemini again. This 4 track EP was short but very solid indeed. It was equally good as Graduation EP but just below the Blue EP. The track I enjoyed the most on this EP was "Now Way Out". One of his best tracks so far to me.
I recommend this EP. It is good old fashion dubstep which Gemini brings.

Rusko "Songs"

Genre: Dubstep
So the highly anticipated album from Rusko is finally out! And it is entitled "Songs". It has been awhile since we heard from Rusko since is critically acclaimed album "O.M.G.". The only sad thing about this album to me is that "Everyday" was not on it, which I thought it would have been.
Anyway, listening to this album I was really surprised with the direction in which Rusko went. Rusko decided this time to implemen more of a reggae feel in "Songs" which at time I found a bit odd but also refreshing. At least he did not go the same route that so many of our dubstep artist are going these days. However the basslines where still there with some cool beats. The only problem was it did not match the quality of the previous album which to me was the best dubstep album of 2010. But I could be wrong, this album could be a huge success.
Some of the songs on "Songs" that I loved were the hit single "Somebody to Love", "M357", "Thunder", and "Pressure".
So would say that this album had solid tracks. Great tracks,we have to wait and see. Rusko should have but the "Everyday" song or even the Netsky remix on the album. If he had I believe people would have loved the album even more. But if you like reggae and dub mixed together than you better get this album now!

All Over Me EP by Magnum

Genre: Dubstep/ Grime
For some strange reason I decided today to look for a LP/EP that might be completely different from what I have been listening to. So when I saw "All Over Me EP" by Magnum, I decided to give it a go. First I wonder who are they. Then I found out that he is an Puerto Rican dubstep producer on 92Points. Also I realize that this was not brostep or filthstep but more grime or future garage.
When I eventually got to listening to the EP I was blown away and amazed by the quality of the tracks on the EP. It had that haunting yet soulful feel to it lie a certain guy on Hyperdub ( Burial) but more times at a faster pace, suitable for a club environment. I loved the track "Dense". It was absolutely amazing. It had that haunting sound with deep bass and atmospheric melodies. The remix from French Fries fell a bit short to me but still was good.
Another track that I found was worth listening to was "Baby" which had that dance element to it. A track that would fit perfectly in the club/ or lounge in my opinion.
So if you are looking for dubstep that is not brostep or filtstep then Magnum's "All Over Me EP" is a good choice.

Welcome to the Future by Mord Fustang

Genre: Electro House
So this is the Future? Well it sounds awesome I have to say by listening to the new Mord Fustang EP "Welcome to the Future". Futuristic sounds and a lot of disco basslines banging here and there and all around, we have ourselves and incredible EP. It might be only 22mins long but to me the tracks are all full of quality. Whether he is Electro House or dubstep, the Estonian producer is one of the rising stars in the game. I like almost all the tracks on this EP but the one that I enjoy the most must be "Welcome to the Future".
So this is an EP that I highly recommend you would like.

Between the Lines by Camo & Krooked

Genre: Drum n Bass
Well it is here the remix album of Camo & Krooked's "Cross the Line" entitled "Between the Lines" If you actually want to appreciate this album to the fullest, I advice you to listen to the "Cross the Line" first before picking up this album. There are so many artists that contributed on this album, from the likes of Fred V & Grafix to Bcee, Metrik to FuntCase, Subwave to Smooth. Each of the artists that remixed a track on this album, brought their own unique style to the front which to me has extremely refreshing to listen to.
For the tracks that were remixed most of them were so much better than the original mixed. Like Bcee remix of "Afterlife" which was simply amazing or "Change Me" which was remixed by Submorphics. The "Change Me" remix really stands for me because the original track was not that hot but the remix is so soulful. Fred V & Grafix also produce an excellent remix for "All Fall Down" that is worth listening to as well. But I think most listeners will be impressed by the "Hot Pursuit" remixes by Caizo, Dead Battery and FuntCase. My favourite amongst them has to be FuntCunt remix, really good one.
In the end I would say this is a really good remix album which all dnb fans would enjoy to the fullest. Now let me listen to that Afterlife remix again!

Commix Presents Dusted

Genre: Drum N Bass
A new LP from Commix is out called "Commix Presents Dusted". This is the first time I have actually heard them and I was interested in hearing their version of dnb.
When I was listening to them I did not feel blown away by their tunes more relaxed and calm. The tracks on this LP were so smooth and atmospheric, a combination which was very enjoyable to hear. Commix also used excellent vocal samples in their tracks that blended in perfectly in their tracks. This was truly amazing to listen to.
The track "Golden" sounded very similar to Bcee's track Generation ( S.P.Y. Remix). A mixture of soulful melody I must say. There were so many tracks on this album I enjoyed. The ones that I enjoyed the most were "MFSB", "Everything" and "Golden".
Conclusion, I would say this is one of the best dnb albums out this year. One a true dnb fan would love so much

The Agony & The Ecstasy by High Contrast

Genre: Drum N Bass
Well after a long absence, the Welsh wizard High Contrast is finally back with a new album on Hospital records known as "The Agony & The Ecstasy". On this album he had the likes of Tiesto, Underworld, Claire Maguire and Selah Corbin.
When I listened to this album I found it very different from his previous works. It did not feel like an drum n bass album. It felt like High Contrast was actually trying to do something completely different. There were less of those soulful samples but more vocals from guest artists. The deep bass lines and hard drums were not present as frequently as before. Some tracks did not even feel like dnb tracks, but more like house music.
The track that really stood out for me was "The Stand" and "Emotional Vampire". I really enjoyed these tracks.
So for hardcore DNB fans this album is more of a let down, but for others it is good.

I had heard of The Weeknd many times, both in the R&B scene and the electronic music scene but I had never actually listen to any of his mixtapes before. Some say he is R&B, others dubstep. After listening to this LP I can say he is a little of both, but he is extremely good.
I really enjoyed the remix songs on this LP a lot. It was refreshing to hear song good soul music immersed in smooth bass tunes. I had not heard that in a long time since Katy B. Chi Duly should get a lot of credit for this remixed album because he did a wonderful job in producing a well organised and enjoyable piece.
This is an album that all music lovers would love for sure. I can bet on it.

The Bipolar EP by Mat Zo

Genre: Trance
On the 10th of February Mat Zo released a new EP called "The Bipolar EP" on Anjunabeats. I must say it is a short but well composed and  produced EP from the gifted Matar. He really delivered on this one. I liked most of the almost all the tracks.
On this EP he delivers excellent melodies and beats that are so sweet, yeah I said it sweet. There is also that smooth bass line that I loved on "Yoyo Ma" together with the robot voices. I just wonder, what were they saying all this time? Maybe Yoyo Ma, who knows it sound good. A little like Daft Punk actually. Anyway this is a good Trance EP so go and get it.

Street Halo/Kindred by Burial

Genre: Dubstep/Grime
Well the wait is over and the new EP from Burial is out. For such a long time Burial fans have been waiting, or should I say craving for his EPs and LPs to come out. The addictive nature of his tunes leaves so many of his fans in a trance state, which shakes the very nature of once soul. But would this new EP do the justice that his previous work has done many times before?
Well I can say it actually did. Ask for the Street Halo part, many people have heard it before, for those that have not it is still a good EP but to me it fell short of his previous work. But the Kindred EP is just out of this world. The songs are a bit long. All are more than 7 minutes long. Some are well above the 10min mark. So if you are not a fan of Experimental Dubstep you will easily be bored by some of these tracks. But for those that are not will be blown away.
Each track on the Kindred felt like a story being told but with now words, just the beat and the dark melody speaking to the listener. The tracks that I really enjoyed were "Ashtray Wasp" and "Loner", especially "Ashtray Wasp" which blow me away when I heard the Synthesizer in the song. Something of a first time hearing it in a Burial track.
So if you love Dubstep and Burial then get this EP from Hyperdub's most gifted artist RIGHT NOW!

Escaping From Electric Mountain EP by Feed Me

Genre: Dubstep
So it is here, the new EP from Electro House/Dubstep producer Feed Me ( aka Jon Gooch) called "Escape From Electric Mountain". It has the hallmark of the previous EP "To the Stars", a lot of breakcore, down right wicked basslines and outrageous electro tunes that would have fans love it.
But to me I found it a bit the same like the previous one. There was not that much of a difference really. For his fans people will be excited but for first timers it will sound like noise. I actually expected more from this EP. Maybe I expected to much.
There were however some tracks that I really enjoyed. I liked "Relocation", "One Click Headshot" and the best track by a mile on this EP "Whiskers" featuring Gemini. In fact Whiskers to me actually raised the bar on this EP. If it was not for that track I would say that this EP was average.

Le Voyage Dans la Lune

Genre: Chillout
So finally Air have released another album called "Le Voyage Dans La Lune" which means "The Journey down the Moon". It has been a while since I heard their cool and relaxing tunes from the French duo. Combining with the vocal support from the band members themselves Nicolas and Jean-Benoit, it is a pretty good album to sit down and relax to. Most off the time that was what I did when I listen to it. My favourite track was "Lava" really liked. So if You are a fan of their music go and get this album. You will not be disappointed.

Light Speed by John B

Genre: Drum n' Bass
Yesterday John B released a new LP called Light Speed. It is an interesting LP with a mixture of a lot of electro sounds. John B is one creative person I can tell you that, not only by his crazy  hairstyles but his fusion of all the electronic components are excellent. I like the way his high tempo beats with trance melodies and excellent vocal support. He had the likes of Kirsty Hawkshaw, Shaz Sparks, Jullian Ann on this LP. I like the collaboration he did with Shaz Sparks the most. It was perfect. Then there was the Camo & Krooked remix of his track "Numbers" which blew me off! I was not surprised it was so good because it was a Camo & Krooked remix, and those two guys are the hottest duet in Drum n Bass scene at the moment.
This LP was a smash! This LP is good and I love to listen to it again. If you have not listen to it you should!

Virtual Boy

Genre: Bitpop
Well this LP has me in a limbo. I do not really no what to make out of it really. It is like it is a mixture of chiptune, dubstep, deep house and glitch-hop. This puzzles me really. People really liked their previous work but I simply find this one a bit below par. Most of the time I listen to the album I was wondering what they were actually doing. I really wish I knew. The only thing I liked was calm and peaceful melodies. Other than that it was not something I would like listening to again.

The Music EP by Rollz

Genre: Drum N' Bass(Liquid Funk)
Earlier this week the new EP from Rollz called "The Music" which is out on Pilot Records. In the past Rollz have made really good EPs and this one is no exception. There are really some good old quality liquid funk on this EP. The track I liked all the tracks on this EP.
This is an EP worth getting and the best drum n bass release so far.

Are You Sure 12th Planet That "The End is Near!" ?

Genre: Dubstep
Yesterday dubstep DJ and producer 12th Planet released a new EP called "The End Is Near!" On this EP we have the likes of Antiserum, Flinch, Kill the Noise and Skrillex. With all these manes on the EP we can expect on thing, insane tunes, massive breakdowns and absolute loudness for the 20mins.
The EP was tight and cool to listen to. I really enjoyed this one. The EP did not actually feel like the end is near, it felt more like the war is about to begin, it sort of reminded me of a cyber war.
Most of the tracks were solid. The tracks that I liked the most were "Ghost" and "Jailbreak".

The Voyage of Haywyre

 Genre: Glitch Hop/Dubstep
The weekend is over and a lot of good Electronic music music was released. One I found which was particularly good was Martin Vogt aka Haywyre's "The Voyage". From the name and cover you will expect a full throttle ride when listening to this album.
"The Voyage" is a cross between Glitch and a lot of space effects. Haywyre really captured the outer space and the cosmic airwaves perfectly. One impressive attribute was the way the wobble bass was produced in the tracks to go with the space shuttle theme of the album. It reminds me of xKore's Space Cowboy but less wobbly. So many of the tracks felt like the tunes where falling from the sky into ones hears.
I also loved the piano piece that was heard. It was new experience to hear such excellent piano piece on a dubstep tracks. I was especially impressed with the piano sessions in "The Voyage" and "Atmospheric Evolution". He must be an excellent pianist, throughout the album he showed it. And it was wonderful to listen to it.
The tracks that were really good were "Atmospheric Evolution", "Pendulum", "Mokalite" , "The Voyage" and "Catalyst"
I would recommend this album 100%. It is beautiful and wonderful in all aspects. Haywyre really did his homework well. "The Voyage" is perfect for travelling (especially into space). One of the best underground dubstep albums I have heard this year.

Dreamworld (Nightmare) EP by Vaski

Genre: Dubstep
A new EP from Vaski is out called "Dreamworld (Nightmare) EP". This EP is really good to listen to. It had a mixture of Hip-Hop and dubstep in it which I found really cool. I was really impressed with the rhymes that Audiodasity dropped on Vaski's tracks, because it is not everyday you see someone bust rhymes on dubstep beats. Also I liked the vocals that Sara Locke gave on Dreamworld Nightmare. It was really good.
The tracks that I enjoyed the most were "Limitless" and "Breakdown". In the end  I would say that "Dreamworld (Nightmare) EP" is okay.

The Outlaster LP by Nostalgia

Genre: Dubstep
Listen to the new LP by Nostalgia & Aami today called "The Outlaster LP". I have to say there are so many dubstep LPs and EPs coming out these days. But when I listened to this one I was really impressed with the music that. The collaboration between Nostalgia and Aami was excellent. Aami vocal support on the tracks were really good, I enjoyed hearing her voice. Nostalgia really produced some good sounds on the "The Outlaster LP". I loved the bass sound and the grime was tight. This is easily the best dubstep LP this year so far. I strongly recommend this album to everyone who is looking for a dubstep LP.

The Planet Terror EP

Genre: Dubstep
Well this is interesting, there is an EP from Planet Terror called "The Planet Terror EP". This new EP from Planet Terror dubstep is short. Shorter than 15mins. In fact all the tracks ( 4 to be exact) do not even pass the 3min mark. It seems whoever Planet Terror are, their EP contained a lot of samples from The movie "Planet Terror". I think that is where they got the name from. I enjoyed it for 10mins which was almost the length whole EP. Afterwards I got bored.
Conclusion, a fast EP. Just like a fart. Now let me listen to some Arnej and The Chemical Brothers

Introducing Loqiemean's "The First Man's Lie"

Genre: Dubstep
Loqiemean is a Russian dubstep act. I know very little about them or him but still would like to hear what kind of dubstep music Loqiemean makes. So a jumped on the chance on listening to his 10 track EP that was released during the weekend.
The First Man's Lie has a lot of sampled music in it which I find extremely interesting to listen to. A lot of these samples were hip-hop oriented, the others I presume would be soul music. There were a lot of glitch music and and a lot of brostep and techstep in the EP which were beautifully organised. One thing I found interesting was that the music did not go too over-board like Skrillex sometimes do. That's not to say that I dislike Skrillex's music, I found it annoying if other dubstep artist keep copying his style to much. Loqiemean however made his dubstep sound more hip hop and B-boy style. The track "Scurple" I enjoyed to the Russian sampling in the beginning of the track.
The track that I loved the most were "I Don't Wanna Be" "Scurple" "Texas Erection" "Immortal". "Dexter Morgan" to me was also awesome.
To conclude I would say that Loqiemean are clearly welcome to the dubstep scene.

Further Into the Aether by Satori

"
Genre: Goa Trance
"Further Into Aether" is a goa trance Lp by Satori. This is my first gao trance album I have gotten. Goa trance is a type of trance that is completely new to me, since I do not know much about this type of electronic music but it is always nice to see what this genre has to offer after all it still is trance.
When I listen to "Further Into Aether" it felt like I was travel in outer space, as there was a lot of cosmic sound in the tracks. The album was had fast and hard beats, sort of like a hard-trance but not as fast though. But most of the time it felt like listening to constellations come alive in my sound system. The song that I enjoyed the most was "What You Come Here For".
The only thing that disappointed me was the length of the album which was short to my liking. Wish it had been a bit longer.
Overall I would say it is a solid album ( Should have been an EP)

Six Cups of Rebel by Lindstrøm

Style: Electronic (Space Disco)
Hans-Peter Lindstrøm new album "Six Cups of Rebel" was released this week. I find the name very interesting and wonder why he choose that particular title. It is also the first time I actually have listened to a Space Disco album. So I jumped on it having previously listened to some tracks he did Prins Thomas.
Listening to the album was really cool and groovy. That space and science fiction them that floated around most of the tracks was amazing. His music has the really has the ability to make people feel like their in some inter galactic war was stunning. I also enjoyed the way some tracks progressed and crossover as time went by. It is really an interesting experience listening to the album. The only downer to this LP was that there were not more tracks to look forward to, as there were only 7. But he made for that with the length of each track.
My final word on this LP is that it is worth your money if you enjoy Space Disco and some Element of Deep House.

Subwave-Subwave

Style: Drum n' Bass (Liquid Funk)
Subwave is the first Drum n' Bass album to grace the scene this year. Not only that but it is liquid funk, my favourite sub-genre when it comes to DnB. I love liquid, so I wondered how good the album would be? While I was listening I could see this was true to the liquid scene since it had all the hallmark of it, fast and heavy beats with soulful vocals and deep melodies. Subwave delivered just that. Some of their tracks had that deep house or lounge theme, examples were "Tonel" and "Green Water". I also enjoyed the sampling of Zulu vocals and Bantu in tracks "Aeeeh" and "Wheel of Time". One thing I found annoying was that some tracks were repetitive in nature. Actually could make me sleep.
The tracks that I really enjoyed listening to were "Senses", "Bring Me Down", "Rainbow(with Enei)" and "4th Illusion" as these tracks delivered the fast pace soul music I love so much.
In a nutshell I would say that Subwave is a decent album. A good album to start the year with though.
